Part work-from-home office. Part private retreat. Completely unexpected.

A dated guest bedroom wasn’t serving this family anymore, so we reimagined it around two very different needs: a sophisticated home office for everyday work and a quiet place to unwind and host friends over bourbon.

The challenge was making both functions coexist without the room feeling like an office by day and a bar by night. Rich finishes, custom built-ins, comfortable seating, and thoughtful lighting allow the space to transition effortlessly between work and entertaining.

And in a nod to the speakeasies of Prohibition, the entire room is tucked behind a concealed door—adding an unexpected element that makes entering the space part of the experience.

The result is a hardworking office with an after-hours personality all its own.
